For the molds design Aluxpert employs specialized staff inside the company, but also external assistances, in order to guarantee a very high service quality.

Aluxpert employs specific programs for the structural and industrial check-up, which allow an optimal development of tooling and machining.

After the molds construction complete dimensional checks are performed on the final product, as well as metallographic tests and materials analysis certifications , in order to ensure the highest quality.

Method

The co-design study allows to elaborate custom made performing solutions, complying with the incoming requirements and with the relevant regulations.

The designing activity is carried out by means of an art CAD software.

Aluxpert performs filling simulations and behavior studies of the casting, done in order to verify the molds conformity and the casting quality Our approach is oriented to a risks reduction and benefits maximization.

Casting simulation

It’s a method useful to check the filling process of the aluminum in the mold, the castings solidification and to detect eventual critical areas.

The castings simulation is performed by means of a mathematic simulation of what’s happening inside the steel mold, in order to detect eventual problems before its mechanical machining and its optimization.
